Individual, Child & Family Counsellor
Counselling Associate

Understanding children and youth through a developmental and attachment-based lens helps make sense of their inner emotional world, behaviours, and relational needs. When we better understand what is driving behaviour, it creates space for empathy, stronger connection, and meaningful healing within families.
Supporting children, youth, and families is my passion, and promoting emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being is at the heart of my work.
I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in therapeutic and counselling settings. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (B.A.), a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (M.A.), and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
I take an integrative and client-centred approach to counselling, tailoring support to the unique needs of each child, youth, and family. My work draws from play therapy, art-based interventions, strengths-based therapy, attachment theory, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and person-centred counselling. I also incorporate developmentally appropriate strategies that help children express emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen self-regulation.
Creating a safe, warm, and supportive therapeutic environment is central to my practice. I believe that when clients feel emotionally secure, it opens the door to healing, insight, and the development of practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
My goal in therapy is to help individuals and families develop a deeper understanding of themselves and one another, strengthen relationships, and build the internal and relational resources needed to thrive.
