Parenting a child with anxiety can be challenging, but youโre not alone. This four-session workshop provides parents of children aged 5โ10 with knowledge, strategies, and a supportive community to help their children feel calmer, more confident, and able to thrive. What Youโll Gain: ๐ง A clear understanding of childhood anxiety and how it affects emotions, behaviour, and learning. ๐ ๏ธ Practical tools for managing worries, supporting coping skills, and fostering emotional regulation. ๐ซ Guidance on school advocacy and working effectively with teachers. ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Self-care strategies to manage parenting stress and strengthen family relationships. Session Topics: โ Understanding Anxiety โ Learn about childhood anxiety, including common triggers, emotional impacts, and how it shows up in everyday life. โ Supporting Coping & Resilience โ Discover practical tools and routines to help your child manage worries and build confidence. โ School & Advocacy โ Navigate the school system, communicate with teachers, and support your childโs learning and social experience. โ Parenting & Self-Care โ Reduce stress, foster resilience, and strengthen family relationships while modelling healthy coping strategies. This group offers a welcoming space to connect, share, and learn alongside other parents facing similar challenges. Whether youโre newly navigating anxiety or looking for new strategies, this workshop will provide you with insights, practical tools, and the confidence to support your child. Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Policy Group Cancellation by Facilitator: If the facilitator must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), participants will be notified as early as possible. A makeup session will be offered or refunds will be processed for canceled sessions. Group Cancellation by External event: If a session must be canceled due to external events beyond the facilitatorโs control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions), the group will not offer a make-up session. Participants will be notified promptly and may receive a full refund for the canceled session. If the situation permits, the session may be rescheduled or conducted virtually, with participants given the option to attend or receive a refund. 2. Refund Policy Full Refund: Participants who cancel their registration at least 7 days prior to the first session will receive a full refund. Partial Refund: For cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours before the start of the group, participants may receive a 50% refund. No Refund: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the first session or after the first session has started will not be refunded. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or for partial attendance. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days following the cancellation request. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used during registration. 3. Missing a session Unfortunately, if participants miss a session we cannot offer make up sessions as one session builds on the next one. 4. Transfer Policy Participants may transfer their spot to another parent (if applicable) if they are unable to attend, provided the facilitator is notified 72 hours in advance.
