“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” – Paulo Coelho
There are times in life when we may feel lost, overwhelmed, or unheard. In those moments, I believe it can be helpful to remember that we are not alone—we are part of something larger, interconnected, and supportive. My hope is to help clients reconnect with their own path, strengths, and sense of direction as they move through their healing journey.
Hi, I’m Irene, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Supporting children, youth, and families has always been at the heart of my work. I have had the privilege of walking alongside young children in early development, supporting adolescents navigating complex emotions and life transitions, and working with families seeking compassionate, collaborative support.
I bring specialized experience in infant and early childhood mental health, as well as supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional regulation challenges, and other mental health concerns across the lifespan.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and family-centred, grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe and supportive relationships. I draw from narrative therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), solution-focused therapy, and somatic-based approaches, tailoring my work to meet the unique needs of each child, youth, or family.
I also deeply believe in the healing power of play. When appropriate, I integrate play-based and creative approaches into sessions to help children express themselves, process emotions, and build connection in a developmentally meaningful way.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and personalized therapeutic space where children, youth, and families feel supported, understood, and empowered in their growth and healing.
