M.C, RCC
Individual, Child & Family Counsellor
Counselling Associate

At the heart of my work is the relationship I build with each child, youth, and family. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with experience supporting children, youth, and families in school and community settings. I believe meaningful change begins with connection. When children feel understood, supported, and safe, they can begin to explore their emotions, develop new skills, and build confidence.
I provide child and youth counselling using a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach. My work is grounded in evidence-based cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, and attachment-based approaches, while incorporating play therapy, creative, and somatic approaches to support children in expressing and processing their experiences in ways that feel natural to them.
I support children, youth, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, chronic illness, school-related and sports-related stress, family conflict, identity exploration, and life transitions. I view behaviour as a form of communication and take time to understand the child as a whole, including their emotions, relationships, environment, strengths, and developmental needs.
Counselling is tailored to each child’s age, personality, interests, and individual needs. I also recognize the important role that parents, caregivers, and family relationships play in a child’s emotional well-being. Through parent support and family-focused counselling, I work collaboratively with caregivers to better understand their child’s needs and develop practical strategies that strengthen connection and support positive change.
My goal is to create a counselling environment where children and families feel safe, heard, understood, and accepted. I hope to walk alongside each person as they build emotional awareness, confidence, resilience, and stronger relationships.
