Georgia Spiliotopoulos
I care deeply about supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, and I strive to create a space where clients of all ages feel safe, welcome, and understood. Whether I am working directly with your child or walking alongside you as a parent, my intention is to offer steady, compassionate support so your family does not feel alone in what you are facing. It is truly meaningful to be trusted with this work, and I feel honoured to be part of your journey. As a parent of two girls myself, I bring lived experience of the joys, worries, and complexities of raising children.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, inclusivity, and authenticity. I strive to create a nurturing and emotionally safe space where each person feels seen, respected, and valued.
My work is grounded in Emotion-Focused and attachment-based therapies, trauma and intergenerational healing, CBT-informed interventions, family systems, early child development, and play therapy. I also have advanced training in Synergetic Play Therapy, Emotion-Focused Parent Coaching, Gordon Neufeld’s developmental approach, ADHD and ASD-informed practice, somatic trauma therapy, and childhood sexual trauma treatment. I deeply believe that children, youth, and families hold innate strengths for growth and healing when given the right support and tools.
I am especially passionate about supporting neurodiverse children and youth, those impacted by trauma, school or relational challenges, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation difficulties. I also love working closely with parents through an attachment lens to develop practical, compassionate strategies that foster calm, connection, and resilience within the family.
