Helena Grouazel
M.C, RCC
Individual, Child & Family Counsellor
Counselling Associate

am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 10 years of professional experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families in a variety of clinical, community, and school-based settings. I have worked with multiple non-profit organizations, school districts, and interdisciplinary teams, which has shaped my specialization in early childhood development, infant mental health, and child and family therapy.
My clinical focus includes supporting families in the early years (infancy through school-age development), with a strong emphasis on attachment, emotional regulation, and parent-child relationships. I am committed to helping caregivers better understand their child’s emotional and developmental needs, while strengthening secure and nurturing relationships that support long-term well-being.
I provide counselling grounded in attachment theory and developmental psychology, supporting families as they navigate challenges related to bonding, behaviour, emotional regulation, identity development, and life transitions. My work often involves strengthening the caregiver-child relationship, enhancing co-regulation, and supporting parents in feeling more confident and connected in their parenting role.
I am committed to guiding you through your counselling journey by creating a safe, compassionate, and secure therapeutic relationship, where you feel supported in exploring your experiences, goals, and family vision. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen relationships, and support meaningful change.
I also support clients in developing a stronger sense of identity and improving relationships with their children through attachment-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally sensitive counselling approaches.
I offer counselling services in both English and French, and I welcome the opportunity to connect with you and your family.
