Due to high demand, Strong Ties is looking for passionate and enthusiastic therapists seeking opportunities to work with children, youth and/or families. We focus on anxiety, mood disorders, emotional regulation, trauma and we provide parent and school consultation. We encourage a warm, flexible and supportive setting that includes:

• Admin and marketing support (admin help for scheduling clients, online booking, headshots, business cards, support with billing)

We are looking for contractor therapists with:

​

• Registered practitioners with a Master's Degree (BCACC, CCPA or registered with the College of Social Workers)

• Professional Liability Insurance

• 3 years of demonstrated experience and expertise working with children or youth experiencing different clinical issues (e.g. anxiety, ADHD, anger issues, developmental challenges, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions).

• Strong ability to work with adults or families, especially in parenting issues.

• Interest or experience in developmental and attachment theory- informed approaches is an asset.

• Preference for those willing to do some evening and/or weekend work: Saturdays and Sundays are open 

• Preference for therapists wanting to increase their client base by 1-2 days per week.

 

Start Date:      Earliest Availability
Closing Date:  Posting will remain open until all positions are filled.
Contract length: 12 months
Consistent referrals allow for part time hours: 5-20 per week
